You can now view an on-line live view of "You Can't Hold the Bulldogs Back!", the 2010-2011 edition of the Bonham Middle School yearbook. If you are not a member of the yearbook staff, follow these steps to view the on-line live yearbook as we create it.

1. Navigate to the publisher's website (link to their website). If you get a message about pop-ups, hold down the Control (CTRL) key as you click the link.

2, Students can use the following credentials to log-in (upper right side of the Walsworth home page:  user ID = bmsstudent  password = bulldogs. These credentials provide you with view only access to the current yearbook on-line.

3. Parents can use the following credentials to log-in (upper right side of the Walsworth home page: user ID = bmsparent password = bmsmomdad. These credentials provide you with view-only access to the current yearbook on-line.

4. Once logged in, click on the On-Line Design button (center of the Members Only page currently displayed).

5. The live yearbook on-line appears in the lower right-hand side of the screen as a pair of small rectangles connected to look like a book. Hovering the mouse over that location will expand to read Live Yearbook.

6. Clicking the Live Yearbook icon will open up a Flash document showing the current information on the pages of the yearbook. The covers do not show in this view. Only the internal pages are available in this venue.

As announced in class, you will be responsible to turn in the number of page backgrounds that will go with the spreads to have been assigned. Remember if you only signed up for one page of a two page spread, your responsibilty does not extend to the other page, unless you want to provide a suggestion for the other page. That type of initiative and proactive effort is always rewarded and deeply appreciated. Check the course resources for the rubric for the background page project. The upload location may accessed here or in the Checkpoints at the end of the Unit on Background Pages. Remember you must be logged in before you can access the resources and checkpoints in any of our courses.

After a delay for techinical issue resolution, the 2010-2011 Bonham Yearbook Cover Competition was started at 2:00 p;m. on Saturday, September 25, 2010. The competition will continue until midnight on Wednesday, September 29, 2010. Faculty voting on top 5 finalists will occur on Thursday, September 30, 2010. Cover winners will be announced on Friday, October 1, 2010. You may cast your votes here

The decision to delay the web vote on this year's Bonham Yearbook, You Can't Hold The Bulldogs Back! A minor error with page resolution has forced the yearbook team to go back and rework some pages in order to bring you a truly awesome effort by this year's Yearbook team. The count on entries this year is 83, and the web survey should be up and operational no later than this weekend. This will move our Faculty voting process into mid-next week allowing us time to announce the Winner and our 4 runners up.
